LaQuinta in Barcenaciones, as well as its garden and the rest of the spaces that make up this magnificent property, are an unforgettable setting, a respite of harmony and calmness in which to converge and build together as a group.
Furthermore, we offer you El Prado, a vast terrain of 1 hectare that is the perfect space for temporary structures, such as carps or tents. El Prado also offers a beautiful organic garden and is home to our La Shala, a 70m2 open-floor room with wooden floors that will adapt to any of your needs, be it for meetings, presentations, trainings, as well as sessions of yoga, corporal expression, pilates or even dance.

barcenaciones
Barcenaciones is considered by some historians to be the second oldest town in Cantabria, as well as one of the most beautiful ones (Town of Cantabria 2012). It is strategically located in between some of the most famous spots in Cantabria. Santillana del Mar, the caves of Altamira, Comillas, San Vicente de la Barquera, Cabezon de la Sal, Suances, or Torrelavega are all less than a 20-minute drive away. It’s centric location contrasts with the magnificent preservation of the village itself, which despite being close to modern urban areas, has maintained its cobbled-stone streets, or its stone and wood houses.
The town sits by the Saja river on its northern side. The “senda del agua” (waterway walk) is a short walk that stems from the village and walks down the pathway of the river to a beautiful meadow. It’s an ideal place to reconnect with nature. Apart from this one, there are several other routes that invite our guests to stroll by beautiful trees, animals, and nature while breathing clean fresh air.
